Introduction
Hi i am new to this forum and just wanted to say hello and offer a short introduction. I am a recovering addict/alcoholic who has been sober since december 17th this time. I just spent an extensive ammount of time in inpatient and outpatient treatment which i wouldn't trade for anything. I am finnaly to a point where i am outside the safety net of recovery those places offered me. I have a good sponsor and i do go to my meetings ,but lately i have been struggleing and this struggle brought me here. I was looking for a place to talk and share and learn from others. So just wanted to give ya short introducion. I am glad i found a place like this hope it can give me some assistance in my continued recovery.
Thanks
Alan
Thanks
Alan
Hey Alan. Great job on your sober time. This place is great. There are a lot of long timers on here with great advice and support. I am a short timer but have found that it is a great place to vent my concerns, problems, and accomplishments. The people on here truly care. We are all after the same goal. Sobriety. Im a day by day kind of guy.
