Introduction

Hi i am new to this forum and just wanted to say hello and offer a short introduction. I am a recovering addict/alcoholic who has been sober since december 17th this time. I just spent an extensive ammount of time in inpatient and outpatient treatment which i wouldn't trade for anything. I am finnaly to a point where i am outside the safety net of recovery those places offered me. I have a good sponsor and i do go to my meetings ,but lately i have been struggleing and this struggle brought me here. I was looking for a place to talk and share and learn from others. So just wanted to give ya short introducion. I am glad i found a place like this hope it can give me some assistance in my continued recovery.

Thanks
Alan

Hey Alan. Great job on your sober time. This place is great. There are a lot of long timers on here with great advice and support. I am a short timer but have found that it is a great place to vent my concerns, problems, and accomplishments. The people on here truly care. We are all after the same goal. Sobriety. Im a day by day kind of guy.

thanks for all the support. Lately i have been struggleing with pre relapse behaviors. I have found myself skipping meetings and not be honest with people which for me is a slippery slope. So i am hoping by adding this tools to my recovery that can help me stay clean.
