anxiety treatment that does not affect blood sugar

Does anybody know of any anxiety medication (besides benzos and other addictive drugs) that does not affect blood sugar?

I'm hypoglycemic and can't have any anti-depressants that stimulate my pancreas. It looks like the wellbutrin isn't going to work out so I'm thinking it looks like I may be screwed.

I'm not sure johnrambo, I take wellbutrin and abilify. Do you have a good doctor? Why won't the wellbutrin work?

I'm not completely sure if it will or will not, I started taking it and it felt like it was working then I stopped noticing a difference. How long before you started to feel it and how long before it kicked in full effect?

Thanks, I have an appointment with him Monday. Until then I wanted to ask around and see if anybody may have had a similar situation as mine, that way I could ask the doc about a suggested med maybe.

You may want to consider the most effective non-med treatment: CBT. It has helped me immensely and I still do the TEA form exercise regularly and they still keep sane and mostly anxiety free.

Somebody else mentioned "TEA" where can I find more on this? I'm interested in doing both meds and CBT.

Believe me I'm conservative with meds but I think in my case it could be beneficial.

John,

I just sent you a note on another thread inquiring as to if you found CBT help in Columbus? Sorry I never saw your reply and question here before today?
The TEA forms are a CBT exercise that is really basic, but also very effective. I learned about it in the book by Sam Obitz entitled Been there, done that? DO This!

Hope this finds you feeling a lot better
