Hi Skunks! What about a meeting tonight? I'm not in AA anymore, but it is a great start and you may find that it really works for you. It works for alot of people and saves alot of lives. Just get to a meeting. At the very least, you are not drinking while you are at the meeting.

I went for a couple of years of bottom hitting before I really made the choice and the decision that I was ready to stop. During that time, I often asked my counsellor why I couldn't stop. I just wasn't ready yet. If you are ready and have had enough, get to a meeting, get a counsellor, anything to help you save yourself.

This disease will not only consume your soul, but it will kill you. Make no mistake, it is a lethal disease.

Just once, try turning this around so it reads "i almost drank on monday but i went to a meeting instead"

I believe you will find that you like the way it reads a whole better come tuesday morning.

Just make the choise to go or come here. You have already taken the first steps wheather you know it or not. You are reconizing a problem and are wanting to seek help. Good for you!
