You know what I just realized?
I've been clean & sober for 30 days ! 
I won't say it's been easy thus far. I've only had the urge to drink once though and that was this past Saturday. In fact (oh this is pathetic) I was doing groceries and the urge to buy a 12 pack of beer was so bad I could not even bring myself to go down the beer isle, which by chance also has the paper towels, which I needed. Sooo...I did groceries without buying my paper towels.
But I also left the store without any BEER! I went back to the grocery store yesterday and got the towels. LOL
Other than that one time I wanted to drink, it's just been an emotional roller coaster for about the past 5 days.
Anyway, just thought I'd share my small milestone.

Don't feel bad about not going down the alcohol aisle. I needed a drink so badly one day and I needed groceries. I was SO scared to go to the store because I knew if I went; I would buy alcohol. So I ordered via Peapod and had the groceries delivered to the house. Feel Better?
