Sobriety is in jeopardy..

..just as soon as Sleeping well and eating right stop feeling this GOOD!

10 days, going for all of them this time.

This is WAAAAAAAAAAY better than boozing and making myself miserable.

Doing better at work, girls are relaxed. My muscle inflamation and back pain is gone.

I wake up feeling great FOR NO REASON AT ALL - I am too old for this boozing junk.

Glad to hear things are improving I have to disagree with you, somewhat, though. Perhaps the reason you're waking up feeling great is because you're not going to bed drunk? Just a thought....

I'm on day 79 and things are slowly improving here, too. I hope they only continue to get better for you too, one day at a time.

Congrats on the 79

I pulled about 9 mos when my wife was preggo. Got easy after new habits replaced silly ones. We never should have gone back to drinking.

Yes you are correct, all one must do is bed down 'clean' at night and life gives you a wonderful feeling when you rise. Vibrant, young even. All you have to do is not interfere.

Feeling young is cool - booze feels 'old'.

Something else worth mentioning is the 'Optimism'. Entirely absent after drinking. Easy to see things as 'Bleak' when the entire Software Field is moving offshore, remaining jobs have downward pressure on salary.

But I dont care, I mean I am not normally worried about it, I always find work that pays well.

So when sober I stare at the donut.
When boozing I stare at the hole.

This is so much better. Worst case ? We might have to take our profit on this glorious home and downsize. None of that matters if you still have yourself. Athletic guy living in Colorado with young kid has to spend time more time outdoors. Wow. Heart breaking isnt it ?

If your happy it does not matter where you are.

When I did martial arts every day in Chicago I was enormously happy and near broke, no mountains to look at.

Its how you feel.

I've got today and I dont intend to waste it.

You've got a great attitude! You sound like a winner to me.
I know what you mean by the optimism. It was non-existent while I was drinking, too. I was just trying to make it through the day hungover and that's pretty much all that preoccupied my mind. Except, of course, when my next opportunity to drink would be.

Nice to talk to another Coloradan also. And, yep, today's all we got. Tomorrow I'll live it when it comes, and I may even remember yesterday....

Progress!
