"ODAAT" is how it is done, that is how we get where we are going - - - One Day At A Time. From that, another way of looking at it is that it is a full time job, too. The kind of job with zero days off, not even vacation time.
Again looking at it another way, it is all one big vacation from the other job we used to have, that of a drunk! I used to be a professional drunk.
Now I'm a sober professional drunk, where I have been at my new job for 9587 days, since October 24, 1997. I'm on call, 24 hours a day, too, for the rest of my life. Not many jobs require so much, but I like it that way!

I'm 7 years sober today! 2556 days. Infinitely grateful to SR and you good people for helping me so much in that first 2 or 3 years. Huge part of what God did for me, leading me here, saving my life by keeping me from the only thing I wanted for years: that case or more of beer I was guzzling every day.
edit: hahaha I jumped the gun by a day, was thinking this was the 30th! Just remember tomorrow and apply it then.
