I also came here with a history of multiple relapses. Lately the kindling increased (I'm not spring chicken anymore either). Raging palpitations have not been fun. I'm going to see a cardiologist and hoping it will all resolve, but meanwhile, I know that I am only choosing the "heart palpitation" door if I go back to drinking, so I'm going for another door. For me, I'm just trying to focus on what I will discover - whatever that brings, fun or not. It's got to be better than ruining my body.
