I just got my covid-19 booster shot Monday afternoon and been in bed almost all the time till today. I'm in bed right now. I was so tired I missed to late afternoon appointments. I've been In 18 hours a day more. I've also been to tired to get to meetings the last to days. I've also felt more depressed since getting the booster. I've been have using thoughts since then as well. I feel guilty like I'm doing something wrong so I denied I was having the cravings. I'm doing everything my sponsor has told me.

Hope you feel better David! I too got the moderna booster last month! I felt achey and tired the next day! By day two I was fine! In my opinion you made an excellent choice in getting the booster!

Your symptoms should go away soon! If they don’t I would see a doctor and tell them how you’ve been feeling since the booster! Covid is nothing to mess around with and you want all the protection you can get if you were to get it!

Ask your Higher Power to help you through this! Remind yourself that you have the disease of alcoholism and that you cannot pick up that first drink no matter what!

I got the Pizer booster and had no side effects. My wife was physically tired for 12 - 18 hours. A small price to pay, for the added protection against Covid. Hope you feel better today.
