Please Stay on the Sober Bus Part 46
I'm on the bus.
Another glorious day.
That sounds intriguing bim.
You're right Mags, there weren't many front loaders. The old bubble cars used to be though. I don't think this sort of thing ever appeared on USA roads, probably for the best. This one is an Isetta who started life making fridges...

Isetta were a strange company, after making fridges and bubble cars they changed direction again in the 1960's and, calling themselves Iso now built what I reckon is one of the best cars ever built combining American engine and Italian design, the Iso Grifo.

On the bus but not feeling it today sadly. Gotta go to the Parentals soon and wish I didn't have to (but kinda do because I promised my sister I'd take her for an appointment). Been thinking about Sophie and in a typical depressed/addicted mind going through all the mistakes I've made in life. Also no word from my (possibly ex) Bestie and my penpal . *Sigh* life is difficult sometimes no?
Sao, that is a beautiful car! Wow.
Jase, so sorry that you're feeling badly about Sophie and things. Hang in there. You're a good person. One good thing about life is that things pass. Some take longer than others, but this too shall pass. Take good care and sending good vibes.
Glad to be on the sober bus and sober with all you fine people!
Have a great day all.

Wow, Sao, Iso Grifo is one sleek car. I love the little front loader.
Jase, hang with us; those thoughts and feelings will find resolution, in time. Resolution of feelings and experiences are part of the process. Know and believe that there is a better future in sobriety and recovery.
Boondook, I learned to drive on a 1964ish VW Beetle; it was such a great experience. My favorite cars were stickshifts; I owned about four of them. My first car was a 1971 Camaro (Bim, also, no AC); I loved that car but when I had a real job, I couldn’t show up wilted form the heat, so had to trade it.
We took the grandsons to Kennedy Space Center yesterday; we had a blast.
On the Bus with you fine folks.

Hey Guys (and girls oc, when I say 'guys' I'm not referring to any sex just as in 'people', anyway I appear to be waffling!).
So just an update. I called my people and spoke to my mum and sis. I said I was tired and didn't really want to go over but if they really wanted me to I still would. My sister said it was only an optician appointment to have her glasses adjusted and she could cancel and and go another time.
So yeah I'm still at home. Feel a bit guilty though as I feel like I've 'let them down'. But idk just feeling worn out lately tbh. Still sober is the good news I guess.

On the Soberbus
PJ, I think it’ll take more than one coffee for the poor abandoned bus.
Jase, wise move to give visiting a miss. It’ll take a while before the hurt of losing Sophie will ease. Good to be gentle on yourself.
Is it the beach today then.....again.

Wow that's quite a jump from the front loader to the grifo. I can remember seeing three wheeled cars on the road in England when I was a child.
Hope you start feeling brighter soon Jase, everyone gave great advice.
Happy Hump day, on the bus!
