Occasionally I (we) just like to count our days sober - Pt 22
Day 784.
I've had a drinking dream every night this week. Basically, it's like in my head I can have a drink on an occasional night and it doesn't count and I still keep counting.
On waking up, I know that's nonsense, but I am surprised I'm still getting them after over 2 years of sobriety. Guess my AV is throwing a tantrum at being ignored for this long.

Congratulations Tynesider on 784 days. I haven't had a drinking dream in years, but I suspect I will have another one someday in the future.
On a related note, I had a dream the other night about being totally unprepared for an upcoming college exam in a class I had forgotten I even registered for. This is a pretty common dream among graduate students. The ironic thing is, I've been out of graduate school almost 40 years. When I woke up and told my wife about it we both had a good laugh, but the dream was pretty intense.
