Not on the SR Forums as Often....
"Hello AAPJ,
Our records indicate that you haven't posted in a while. We want to hear what you have to say!"
I received the notice above when I logged in. I does point out to me how much less I am reading/posting here. Not that what I do personally is very important to most of you but here's why... its COVID... You see I am an AAer and when COVID hit all the FTF AA meetings went on line so instead of grabbing my coffee and reading the SR forums each morning I usually attend a 6am on line AA Zoom meeting. It's great. The AA group is based in North Carolina but anyone can log in. I am in Maryland and there is someone in France who usually joins our meetings. So if you have a desire to stop drinking and would like to attend a great AA meeting please feel free to join us. 6am eastern time every day of the year. You can find a zoom meeting link at commonperil.com. Most folks just log on and listen so if you are shy/quiet it's a great meeting to just listen. They don't call on people. Have a great day.

"SR is my people"
I respect that but at least for me having you in an AA meeting would be like meeting a celebrity. I know you are pretty humble but like it or not you are a recovery celebrity. You have helped so many for so long.

I can see I'm going to have to go the humorous route

let us both continue to share our journeys, for many years

SD - I'm OK with that. I can't even get most of my AA friends to attend this meeting. 6am - are you crazy they say? I'm use to it.
Funniest response was from an AA friend of mine who said the only way she could make a 6 am meeting was to score some coke and stay up all night. We both agreed that would not be good idea as she just celebrated 3 years of sobriety. I hope all is well with you down in Texas.
