Often in my first few months, I'd count down to midnight. Besides a full sober day, it also meant the deadline for selling beer here in Texas, so doubly significant. To celebrate, I'd log onto SR and update the sober day counter in my profile and then savor that very proud feeling of the new responsible self I was creating. I'll never forget that feeling.
