Sao- the Dali was interesting. It was at a new art/cultural centre- run and owned by the winery it is next to in the vineyards. It looks like a Rubik'a cube- not flat sided- glass and steel. There was a room with a 360 surround projection/sound- with lots of really trippy, surreal images and sounds- interlaced with history of the winery (they have one level completely for free wine tasting- lots of it).
There were bronze casts- made from original Dali molds...for sale between 20-30k.
Also interpretive art and sketches by various well knows artists. Drunk people tend to buy …..the 'culture' of swilling wine which is 'heady, or has an 'acid bite', mixed with art- where words like 'juxtaposition' and relating the artist to being in their'...…...phase'. All a bit wanky and pretentious to my liking. My friend and I were the only out of about 4 people who actually viewed the exhibit stuff carefully....many more just headed to the wine.

The toilets had a very hard to find door (all grass) and the urinals were clowns heads...

Plus some other interactive stuff....to do with smells and tactile sensation.

The wine bit did not phase me at all- even when my friend have to get as much free wine in them that was socially acceptable...I just sat on a couch and read my book.

Dragon I think those green clouds are a combination of underlighting and pollution.
It's like something out of ghostbusters....

Nice work PJ.....can't say I'd be able to resist around all that wine!

I'm on the Soberbus with you all! Getting the coffee ready, Grounds & Hounds style.....

Even tho its sponsored, I'll go with it. Today is national laugh day - a 24 hour joke fest. https://nationaltoday.com/national-lets-laugh-day/

How do you know elephants are smarter than chickens?
Have you ever heard of a Kentucky Fried Elephant?

That is creepy on several levels...

I am glad the exhibition was interesting. I would love to see that sometime, sans the winery.

On the Sober Bus no matter what--doesn't matter if I happen to be around booze, junk food or extremely hunky men. As long as I stay spiritually connected, the desire/compulsion has been taken away.

Good stuff PJ.

With the people I have to work with every day is National Laugh Day. Never mind, here's a message of hope from a London ticket machine.

Found a whole bunch of original Star Trek episodes in the library. Story lines are very good- added to the crap acting and dreadful special effects- great stuff! Spock is going through 'Ponfar'. Where every 7 years, Vulcans get horny.

I remember that one. That first Star Trek series was classic for all the reasons you mentioned PJ!

Next Gen remains my all time favorite Trek series.
