Welcome Snitch and travelbug.

Yay for the Puppy Bowl! Record it every year.

In a sense Mr. Ringo and I were on the Sober Hearst this weekend. Quiet and fairly subdued weekend. The real Ringo (17 yr old Siamese Lynx) died Friday night. All living family ties to my hometown are gone or moved far away now.

Thank you God for the love, laughter, and sometimes frustration that Ringo brought to my life. Beautiful memories...

Sorry to hear of your loss, Ringo. I am feeling for you. Today is just one of those days that I just feel like crying.

Now, I am crying for your loss. It is bringing back alot of memories.

(((Ringo)))!!! So sorry to hear!!! Losing a pet can be devastating!!! We lost our 12 year old cat a few years ago. It was a part of the family with many laughs and connections. I'm the one who had to take it in the vet to be put down!!! I balled my eyes out!!! So sad!!!

A big thanks to all. I certainly enjoyed the hugs. Felt odd over the weekend to not have him on my lap.

The Year of the Pig. I heard it's supposed to be a good year. Staying sober one day at a time makes for any year to be a good year.

Oh that's right 'Year of the Pig'....Pigs are so cute! Last year I visited this place with a petting zoo, and one of the pigs plopped down on the ground so I could scratch its belly.....this is one of the pics I took:
