So grateful
To be in a country where doctors, hospitals, therapy (for alcoholism) and Antabuse is free.
I know I'm only 9 days sober, but I did a safe detox at the hospital and I have a counselor, a therapist and a doctor monitoring me and giving me my Antabuse. Knowing I will get severely sick if I drink frees me from worrying about relapse. It's just not an option.
I wish you could all have these options. I tried tapering, I tried cold turkey and I failed. Godspeed and lots of love,
RG

That said, when there is a will there is a way. I had the will, so I found a way.
