Hi Eve - I'm sorry you're still struggling.

Would you consider going back to AA maybe?

If not that, maybe committing to something smaller like coming here for help before you drink?

if you don't want to drink you're gonna have to work for that i think?

You could try online meetings - and why not come here to SR and post beforehand so we can talk you out of drinking

Don't lose hope. There is always hope

Sometimes it takes a new approach is all

Someone once told me that if i put in half the effort in getting sober as i did getting drunk, i'd have a good chance of making it long term.

In the end it's a very simple equation. You have to want to be sober more than you want to be drunk. You're not hopeless. If I can do this, anyone can.

Stop beating yourself up and hang out here all day and find some strength.

I'm glad you're back.

The good news is that you never have to feel this way again. Your actions going forward will determine if you ever feel this way again or not.

How are you doing Eve?

A movie sounds like a great idea, maybe eat some snacks and drink plenty of fluids. You know the 1st day will be hard, but you can do this! Maybe a hot bubble bath and some sleep....things will look better tomorrow. Hang in there, and as others have said, you never have to go through this again!!

Blessings

nah your not stupid just an alcholic no big deal. just dust yourself off and get back on the wagon its alright ! beating yourself up over it can be counter productive. Remember its behind you leave it there.

One question: how are you getting your alcohol If you can't go to meetings?

For meetings, you could walk, bike, take a bus, or ask another AA member to pick you up.

I don't go to AA, but if I lost my sobriety you can bet I'd have my butt back in those chairs again. It's what you do when you need help.

It's cheaper than alcohol too.

That's a profound statement! I've put a lot of effort into rotating my liquor stores, hiding my booze, hiding my breath, hiding my drunkenness.

It is so much easier to simply not buy alcohol.
