Hi Chloe!

It takes alot of work from couch to 5k, but not impossible. Just have to start off slow and build up to it over time....

The best I ever did was a half marathon at 2:22. That was when I decided a full was not in my future. I'm in awe of those guys that can run it full out.

My neigbour up the road qualified for Boston and got a spot. But then developed shin splints while training and ended up not going.

Had a busy day today, Loaded up my dad's van with yet more unwanted furniture, clothing, electronics, games and other stuff and donated it. We have a "Family" room on the first level behind the garage. Over the years, it's been nothing more than a place to put junk. I'm trying to clean it right out and turn it into a music room. We have alot instruments here and they don't get played because they are stuffed in corners or closets around the place.

A music room would be so nice, Dragon.

One thing for sure : you'll need to grow some solid nails on your picking hand (right or left btw?) to do some of the finger picking required!
Time and practice and practice...and more practice will make you perform it even better, I'm sure at 100%!
I can't wait to hear that!

I'm ready for a ride in the Sober Bus!
The intermediate classes, that starts in October, is all about finger picking. I'll be signing up for that! I strum with the right hand....

Hey Everybody, I'm on.

The sober bus I was on yesterday, believe it or not, stopped at a Food & Wine Fundraiser. Proof once again that in recovery I can go just about anywhere when I put God and sobriety first. But I do not tempt fate, we didn't stay for the whole time.

Much happier to be on this Sober Bus today with all of you!
