Public Holiday here in Blighty so I have had a lie in followed by a trip to a travelling Fair in a nearby park where I briefly led a "Welly" Boot Throwing competition (I was one of the early throwers, I was down to 5th or 6th when I left.
BTW a Welly is short for Wellington boot, a type of high sided rubber work boot. In the old days they were just plain black but come in all colours these days, especially women and girls varieties.
I have no idea what they are called in other parts of the world hence the lengthy explanation.
