Lindbain

This is my first time posting on here in quite a while. I have been sober now for just over 9 months. Recently I was hospitalized due to an anal fistula that I needed surgery for. This was caused by frequent anal abscesses that had occurred over a period of several years. When I had my very first one I was still drinking heavily at that time. I’ve never had a doctor tell me that this was alcohol related (although no doctor treating it ever knew about my drinking), but I always suspected that it was due to my alcohol consumption.

Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this and suspect it may have had something to do with their drinking?
