2 Year Anniversary Here

Momma I made it! Today is 2 years for me. I never thought that I would achieve this milestone, I only wished for it! It's been quite the journey but 1 day at a time and here I am...Blessed and Grateful

The 2nd year got better. I seen a therapist religiously. My nervous system was still shot but it has improved. I learned to recognize my emotions and anxieties so that I could quickly stop them. I was depressed for a good 6 months in after the 1st year but that has gotten better also. My cravings for booze stopped after the first year so I can sit bored in a bar all night long and not have an ounce of desire for a drink. In fact, it makes me not want to drink, lol. Meditation was very key for me. It really helped me through some rough times. This forum was also a life saver. After a couple of months into sobriety I finally signed up here and read a lot of posts that got me through too. Hang in there it, I feel it gets easier. Take it 1 day at a time and try and find another outlet if you haven't already. Good Luck! Message me if you ever need to chat
