HEY LADIES! Let's say bye to Wine O'Clock!
Hey girls (and guys), I have reached 8 days sober and am finally ready to say goodbye to wine o'clock. I will never let Charlotte Chardonnay and Miss Merlot rule me anymore, after years of their controlling behaviour. If you're ready to say bye to them as well let me know and we can cheer each other on!!

Alright!! I refuse to be one of those moms who think wine at a playdate is so glam. I refuse to let bottles of wine labeled for women get my attention. I want to live the rest of my life in happiness. I'm tired of getting the fuzzy end of the lollipop. No more!
Wine o'clock is seductively relaxing but beware it becoming a habit you rely on. If you ever find yourself pouring more than one small glass, stop before it becomes a slide into dependence.

Oh yes. It has seduced me for years. All the stopping and starting, the withdrawels, I've had it. I got kids and a husband to live for and ill be dang if i let poison in a glittery glass take me down anymore.

I have finally got rid of my old friends Miss Merlot and Penny Pinot - I miss them at times but I don't need them in my life anymore. They use to lead me astray. I have made some new friends though Lucy Lemonade and Catherine Coke who are very uplifting and refreshing. X
Thanks for starting this thread....at first the title brought on a little feeling of "depression" but I'm needing to shake that off 'cause it's just the AV trying to get me....now we can replace it with something better!

I totally get where you're coming from. My intention is to disassociate Wine with the glamour and so called fun it's supposed to bring us ladies. And yes we need a new ____o'clock!

I’m with you!! Never want wine o clock again in the end wine o clock could happen at any time of the day and the feelings of shame guilt n failing as a mum were torture. Let’s do this ladies wine is not relaxing glamorous or helpful when it’s got a hold. It’s destructive n zaps the life out of us. 8 days is a great start. I’m with u all the way bye bye wine your just one big lie
My last wine o' clock was back in September....a group of work people gathered together to ride out the hurricane so we were stuck for a couple days. I panicked and stocked up on a bunch of alcohol, thinking "hurricane party" ~ turns out I was the only one who drank.....at one point someone started taking video and posted it on social media.....(Good call, Purps!)
Something to remind myself of, if I ever think it's a good idea to pick up again.....
