21 months and forgot...
I was just shaving my head and figured out i had 21 months the day before yesterday.
I feel GOOD. Life is GOOD.
Hope is a beautiful thing.

It's been six years ten months and ten days for me, if I don't drink today.
I was at the doctor the other day and he said, "so you don't drink?"
I rattled off the days and he said, " Yeah, and seven hours forty minutes fifteen seconds."
It was funny. He is obviously familiar with alcoholics.
Once in a while I forget the day, but not often. when I think of the miserable existence I had those years ago it's hard to forget. And I never want to forget.
Keep up the good work. 21 months is awesome. And don't forget how you were those months ago and realizing you never have to go back

I forget what it was like sometimes and that's why meetings are good for me. God willing in 16 months and 6 days I can forget I had 21 months the day before yesterday as well. Keep on trudging!
I don't think i'll ever forget what it was like after this last detox. It was truly terrifying.
