How bad were your binges?

I never went through extended binges, but I was a weekend habit drinker. I knew I had an issue when I needed to drink every Friday or Saturday and I was never satisfied after drinking a six-pack. For a while I tried to "moderate" by only buying a six-pack, but that only led to drinking any other booze that was left over from holidays or family gatherings around the house or to pure frustration that I had to stop drinking. Threads like these make me realize that it doesn't matter if your binge entails drinking for five days straight or "only" a six-pack; if you HAVE to drink at any given time, you have a problem.
