I can't even remember how long I have been sober, not exactly. It's about 10 weeks or so.
It doesn't really seem important to count days, not for me.

It doesn't really matter all that much to many if you know the exact number of days. But if you are one to keep track I would say that if you weren't drinking at detox count too. Regardless, congrats on your sobriety to this point!

My damn sober date keeps changing: I consider it 5/13/17 but I have drink probably 3 times during this period. So frustrating!!! I'm going to roll with that date unless I really come off of the wagon.

You will probably find the days not mattering the longer you stay sober. But yes, I would say count each and every day you have not put a drink down your throat as a sober day, including detox! Fight for those days and count them with pride!

Day 1 is Day 1 no matter where you are. It counts.

Great job!

I don't care if you were kidnapped by aliens and tied to the mast of their spaceship as it traveled to Mars and back, if you didn't drink, it damn well counts as a day.

I know several folks who abandoned detox and went straight to a liquor store. Take credit for your time and accomplishment - and keep it going!

My day one was the first day after my last drink. My sponsor told me that was 10 Feb. All I know is that it was a Sunday.

My day 1 was the first day I didn't drink at all. You didn't put alcohol in your body for all those days. That's a fact. It doesn't matter why. Those days count.
