occasionally I (we) just like to count our days sober - Pt 11
Nice job DarkestHour! I hope that you are through the worst of it and are starting to feel better. Even if you haven't quite reached the worst of it, know that better days are very close. Don't make yourself go through those first couple of days ever again. Keep posting!
OMG folks, I haven't counted days since I was still receiving chips for 30, 60, 90 and maybe 6 months. This is fun. According to the sobriety calculator on aa.org, I have:
11,259
Today is what really counts. I truly believe that once you have a sobriety date, it does not have to change!

4 days sober,
This is the longest I have been sober since July 2016, when I was sober for 45 days. Before then it was at least 8 years of daily drinking.
I'm hoping third times a charm. I have a genuine desire to quit permanently. I don't want the health effects of drinking to catch up with me.
