OMG folks, I haven't counted days since I was still receiving chips for 30, 60, 90 and maybe 6 months. This is fun. According to the sobriety calculator on aa.org, I have:

11,259

Today is what really counts. I truly believe that once you have a sobriety date, it does not have to change!

Thank you for the support, soberandhonest! My nerves are a little crazy today, but things don't feel quite as dark. My wife and I are celebrating our 3rd anniversary tonight -- dinner and a movie, no drinks! (Of the alcoholic/demonic kind! &#128512. Have a good one, all.

Same message for you Nutties! Wake up tomorrow with 3 days under your belt and you will be incredibly close to turning the corner. Great job on 2.5 days. It might not seem like a lot, but everyone here knows that those first few days are by far the hardest.

4 days sober,

This is the longest I have been sober since July 2016, when I was sober for 45 days. Before then it was at least 8 years of daily drinking.

I'm hoping third times a charm. I have a genuine desire to quit permanently. I don't want the health effects of drinking to catch up with me.

Awesome job DH! Hope you and your wife had a great sober night last night. Make a plan for making it through your first weekend. You got this!
