Today marks 20 months of sobriety for me. For those who haven't yet started on this journey and those in the early days, I can state unequivocally that a sober life is so incredibly much better than a life that is dependent on alcohol. I still make plenty of mistakes and still have stress that must be dealt with, but removing the biggest obstacle from my life, the one that was going to kill me quickly, is a huge relief and brings joy and pride to my life every day.
