What a good idea! I was drinking sparkling cider out of my champagne glass this New Years. didnt realize how much I missed drinking out of the fancy glasses. I'll have to buy a mocktail book for myself!

Water, I find it strange how much I crave it. Must be due to the years of living drunk and dehydrated.

My fave is lime cordial with a 330ml diet tonic water, topped up with a finger of fizzy water - refreshing accompaniment to a black coffee (I always liked to have several drinks on the go)

Literally, I have a refrigerator to myself stocked with all kinds of fizzy drinks, Perrier, sparkling waters, San Pelligrinos, fruit juice you name it. Every time we go shopping I'm on the hunt for something new. The last addition to my inventory is a can of cranberry ginger ale. I haven't tried it yet.

No favorites yet - too much to try .

A soda stream sounds enticing, does it compare well to store bought sparkling water? I also like the Mocktales idea, something else to check out.

MIne's similar as tonic water is the base, but in bigger quantities when drunk as a mixer with alcohol. So a pint roughly half each diet tonic and soda water with a big slug of lime cordial. Or, half a pint of diet tonic, quarter orange juice and quarter grapefruit juice. Long drinks and the tonic gives a bitter kick. I have one or the other pretty much every day.

Sometimes an espresso together with a San Pellegrino.

St Yorre, a very distinctive tasting French Mineral water (available by direct order here in the U.K.).

Twinings strong breakfast tea. As a treat, Fortnum's Irish Breakfast tea.

Sparkling lemon water is a personal favorite for me. Or a nice cold glass of lemonade.

I will still use some of my fancy glasses for ginger ale. It must be the bubbles.

Great Value (Walmart Brand) Sparkling Cherry Limeade for me! It's sugar free which is what I'm 99% of the time after!
