For those of us that seek recovery as an option for life we walk in with our heads hanging, dragging our feet, lowly, miserable and alone. When we make the decision to change it's not alway's easy. We've become so incapacitaed because of our using history we don't know how to be an active participant in sobriety. Once given some tools, acceptance and support we begin to see the power of change comes from within. It' about nurturing that seed of "self" and "self awareness". It takes work, hard work sometimes, but nothing in life worth having is often easily obtained.

We all have the power when guided by a higher power to make those positive changes, we have to look inward with great difficulty sometimes, but with acceptance of who we are,where we've been and where we want to go we have the capcity to make those changes. Taking baby steps towards progress and change allows you to walk an infinite number of miles into happiness and peace. Choose your attitude, one day at a time.
