Great Job Mav, I gave into a hotel's seduction once. Free beer in the lobby for happy hour which of course gave me the wonderful insight to go across the street to the supermarket and buy a 12 pack. Good going on not giving in

Drinking wine is very common in some cultures. I found the same thing in Italy when I was there for business. At the time I was still drinking moderately but found the wine at lunch a bit excessive. Put me to sleep.

This thread reminds me of the mini bar scene in that excellent Denzell Washington flick "Flight". I would recommend watching that scene as a deterrent!
