your favorite "new" drink

Pretty simple:
If you have quit drinking, what's your favorite drink now?
What's a good "substitute" drink for someone trying to wean off beer?

Virgin Mary (V8 with a shot or two of Tabasco) would be my fave, with flavored sparkling water a close second. I haven't had it in a while (not since a previous dry period about ..... years ago), but I used to like grapefruit juice and tonic.

Lots of coffee. Oh and water. I used to drink alot more water, but sadly have replaced it with coffee. Time to break out the tupperware and drink a big glass of water now.

Great question. I like those little Starbucks iced mocha bottles. I'm also a big fan of sparkling water, especially in fruit flavors. If I'm out around alcohol, I like club soda with lime. Looks a lot like a gin and tonic, so it deflects question (not that anyone usually asks any).

Great thread!!

I like homemade lemonade with lemon juice, water, Splenda and ice

I also love to make my own iced coffees with leftover coffee from the morning with coffee, skim milk, Spenda and lots of ice.

For out where there is alcohol, I drink diet Coke with lime, but LOVE the idea of grapefruit and tonic or club soda. That sounds yummy!!

Arizona Green Tea - and no more wine glasses! Anything in a wine glass still bugs me! And we also like Polar Cranberry Lime Seltzer.
