Made it through Christmas without drinking ..
Whew. Can't believe I made it.
Last year, I was 20-some days sober and then relapsed on Christmas eve, drank heavily throughout the 26th - January First and then never got out of my drinking cycle until this November.
I'm so glad I made it through Christmas, I knew it would be a huge challenge seeing family and having alcohol around but I stayed strong, stuck to just water and I actually had a pretty good time, surprisingly. It's so nice to wake up not thinking "oh no, I embarrassed myself last night I got too cocky and said something stupid".

That's great Quick. Here's to a happy, healthy, sober 2016
So glad you got off the Merry Go Round. The cycle is tough to beat.
Holidays can be such a difficult hurdle, hope you are giving yourself some sort of sober treat!

I didn't drink either but I found myself at a Christmas Party that was heavy on the alcohol. I wanted to test myself to say the least.
People are so strange acting when they're drunk. It's weird to witness it from the other side of the glass.
