Here's my post describing pretty much the same thing http://www.soberrecovery.com/forums/...-got-back.html
Been down that road many times. "Just a couple" quickly becomes 2-3 every night, then 3-4, then the exercise goes out the window, then 4 or 5 every night, bad sleep, hangovers every morning, then within a few weeks my life is a mess and I'm trying to pull it together for another attempt at sobriety.
It took me a long time to realize that this was my binging pattern. Quit for a few weeks, doing fine, then have a couple, then escalate to regular drinking, then problems, then quit again. I have probably been through this routine 100 times in the past 10 years.
And I was wondering recently where the last 15-20 years of my life went? I wish you success at getting back on track and finding a way to make it last.
