My First Sober Party
My First Sober Party
I attended my first sober party with a gratitude meeting at 9PM. It was quite nice. I would not choose to attend these for fun every weekend but it was nice for a special occasion and to feel safe on a holiday.
The most difficult part was navigating around all the drunk drivers on the road tonight.
Anyhow, back home with my wife about to watch a movie to bring us in the new year.
Happy New Year everyone.

I actually did similar. Went to an AA New Years party. Heard 10 speakers, had good fellowship and drank.......2 energy drinks and some coffee. I left before midnight also to beat the drunks out of the bar.
Happy New Year! I stayed in watched a movie and slept great. I am ready to celebrate the New Year not hungover and not in bed. I received some texts from others that went out to parties and took it deep. One former drinking buddy I heard went to the annual New Years Liqour Fest...in order to enter the party you have to do a shot...makes me sick just thinking about it. Apparently, he had to be carried out at 3am drenched in vomit. What a way to bring in the new year. I also heard he was making fun of me for staying a in and getting a good nights rest...he won't be laughing at me today if and when he wakes up.
