Progress report
Thought other might want to hear, so here goes...
I hit 9 months on Thursday and things are getting better all the time.
I'm still an ass at times (working on that
) but I don't spend all day obsessing on how to get through it without a drink.
I don't feel like I could lose it at any moment anymore, and life in general is going good. So glad I stopped.
For that, and for this forum, I am truly thankful.

Many congratulations, sanantonio! I'm just one month ahead of you - I reach 10 months on Wednesday! 
Life is getting better all the time for me, too, although there are some things I do still need to work on. And, sadly, I think I'll always be an ass at times because that's just who I am!!
