Going to rehab...wish me luck
Weaver, I'm so proud of you! This can be a life changing experience for you, a gift, if you embrace it. I'll be here sending you positive thoughts and healing prayers.

It's normal to feel nervous. You'll be fine. It's like I used to tell my daughter when she was nervous about something...it's not like they're going to pull out a gun and shoot you.
Wishing you luck and can't wait to hear from you when you can check in. (((((HUGS)))))

Well I am back...but its ok. I was able to stay at the facility last night and most of today but something with my insurance prevented from a full inpatient stay.
I will be going to outpatient however....looking for an AA meeting to attend tonight.
I know it sounde cliche, but this was my ROCK BOTTOM. Being in that facility...seeing what my life has come to. I am DONE drinking, I have never been more sure of anything in my life.
I will be attempting an AA meeting everyday for the next 90. I will be on here constantly. Reading recover books. I got this. This all has been a HUGE HUGE wake up call. This time is and FEELS different.
Thank you everyone for listening and your kind words.
I'll be around and posting often

I finally had my "ah haa" moment. It was embarrassing, humiliating everything rolled into one. I want to quit for ME this time (as well as my wife and two sons)
I am ok with it now. It is a very peaceful feeling. It really is.
