So I was invited to go to the beach to watch the fire works and I'm going to be sober. It also helps that the meds I'm on I can't drink and when I have drank in the past due to IBS it has made me ill. I'm bringing energy drinks and tons of sparklers to entertain myself. My friend is supportive of this and won't ask to me to drink. It's a public beach with kids around and beach patrol which makes me feel safe.

I guess a public event where no alcohol is allowed or sold is easier than the party I was invited to but had to decline

Good negative thinking about drinking is a big factor helping people to not drink. BE WELL

My stomach is still adjusting to adderall so it's sensitive enough without throwing in alcohol. Spending all night with cramps and in the bathroom no thanks
