1 year today !!

Didn't even realize it was today, thought there was one more day but no today is the 31st of March and I have not drank since I woke up with a terrible hangover 1 year ago. April 31 is the big one which is no weed for a year. Proud of myself

. what have you done to stay sober and how do you feel after 1yr without drinking?

I have a girlfriend who has also been sober with me but more importantly something in my mind has changed. I realize now that drinking doesn't solve anything and even when I am upset I know that if I drink things will only get worse. Also I visit this website whenever I have a craving or go for a run. I eat a porterhouse steak every month I stay sober too. Thanks everyone on this site

I am so thankful for sites like this I have learned lots from them, like that I still have tons of work to do, but the main thing is the first 3 steps in 12 step programs are all to do with "god" and would never in a million years work for me. It offers another means for people to get information on sobriety. There is a good thing going on here!

Yippee!!!! Great job! I'm so excited for my 1 year anniversary, I'm actually getting married on that day :-)
