I'll probably do something similar, hang in and watch a movie. Knowing me I'll probably fall asleep before midnight.

On New Year's day I'm gonna do a polar bear plunge, which is when you donate to a food drive and then jump into the ice cold Atlantic ocean. I'm the type of guy who would enjoy that sort of thing, so I'm really forward to it (it will be my first time).

I've been invited to a party, but I've declined, I'm going to have a bath and then chill with my dogs... TV is usually good on NYE but I'll probably be snoring by 10pm anyway

I will be working, as I do every NY eve night. I will be on the subway home by the time midnight rolls around. Be fun to see the revelers out..

Watching TV, reading SoberRecovery, drinking diet ginger ale, and eating Reese's minis.

Probably watching some TV. Although a friend of mine told me about a sober party that one of the AA rooms is having. Might be something to consider, we shall see.

Continuing my bid to become a genuine 3D animator. Have been learning like crazy these past few days; having no drink inside me allows me to keep a seriously tight focus.

Nice

I'm going to a New Years eve get-together that two of my friends are going to, one of them doesn't drink, it's going to be a pretty low-key thing. I just don't want to be home with my parents and their friends asking me about school while drinking and making me feel uncomfortable when they ask me about why I transferred to a local commuter school when I was at another prestigious school on full scholarship which I was put on leave from due to drinking and drugging. New Years is honestly my least favorite holiday.

we usually work on NYE, but we finished early today. Happy to be home watching Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve with my computer and my diet sprite and my hubby fast asleep by my side.

Actually just did the same thing in opposite order. Movie with the family then back to the parents for a nice seafood dinner or lobster, shrimp, crab, and mussels. Delicious!

My husband's truck broke down so he will be stuck on the road for awhile. Should have been home tonight but yet "again" another bump in the road.

Went to a nice steak dinner with friends and then back to their house party. Moderate drinking going on all night but I remained sober and even drove a couple home! Gotta admit, I'm pretty happy with myself for making it through the 2012 holiday season completely free of alcohol.

I put my 3 y/o to bed at 9, and went to bed myself It's not a big deal to me anymore, in fact I forgot yesterday for most of the day that it was even NY Eve!
