Do I need to go to the hospital?!HELLLLPPP!

It has been a TERRIBLE day today. I have been drinking nearly everyday for about a year. I'm 22 years old. Well this morning I woke up all sweaty, sweaty palms, feet and just got all hot. I was extremely shaky all over. My mind was racing. I felt jumpy, like if someone looked at me i'd feel weird, like twitchy or something? so I would avoid eye contact.

It's weird, because of my old haunted house, I keep thinking of the devil like, its possessing me or something? is this hallucination? I know I am a good person and all that, I don't know why these thoughts get into my head.

I'm prescribed klonopin for withdrawl, and my tolerance has went up, this morning I took 6 klonopins (1 mg) and felt a LITTLE better. About 4 hours ago my friend was telling me that Melatonin decreases anxiety so I took 5 mg of it. Right now I am worrying about seizures. I googled and it freaked me out!! I just took a valium about 15 mins ago. Before I took that I was feeling tired & drained(idk if its from the melatonin) I keep feeling crawling sensations on my head... I'm just really freaked out!! I don't want to die!!!!!! I heard 1 in 30 die from alcohol withdrawal.

My dad was an alcoholic and he quit cold turkey. I have no idea how he did it!!

Someone please help! I feel like I am going crazy!!

Also--- My last drink was at about 3 am this morning

Hi Kendra

I believe if you're concerned enough to ask, then yeah it's a good idea.
Thats a fair amount of self medicating there too in my opinion.

It's best to be safe Go call someone

Keep us updated when you can

Please get yourself to a hospital, kendra. And don't drive yourself! This could be very serious or even fatal. Please go and let us know now you are doing when you get a chance.

We can give you all the advice in the world....but in the end it's up to you to decide what you think is the appropriate course of action, Kendra.

I know it's scary, but don't talk yourself out of getting help if you really need it.

take care.

Is rehab an option Kendra? It might be a good idea if you are over medicating yourself. Try to take a lower dose next time and go to the hospital when you wake up x Please take care of yourself x

I hope you went to the doc! Take care of yourself. That sounds like a lot of drugs in your system at once....

Sounds like how I felt when I would try to detox alone. Please get to a doctor asap. You're playing with fire here.
