I decided to make this topic as i was thinking about the last time i drank, im disgusted how much i drank. Tbh that day i didnt drink as much that day as i have done in past, but i really hope i never drink again as I think its enough to kill some people. Heres my list

2.25 litres of white wine. Litre of alcoholic pop, 2 large bottles of beer. And a small bottle of vodka with pure orange.

At the time i was too busy getting drunk to realise what i was doing. The next day i just had, had enough,

Not much really Bottle of red wine and a couple of beers, but it was the situation I found myself in a few hours later that made me vow to never drink again.

well i quit and was sick as a dog detoxing for a couple three days then my friend gave me 2 beers. The next day I had 4. The next day I had 6 then went out and got another 6 pack. Seeing how fast I was headed right back where I started I was totally disgusted and said that's it. Although somehow that little interlude helped the withdrawal and after the 12 pack I have felt good since that, this is day 6 or 7. Odd.

I remember the day and time of my last drink. I remember dumping it down the drain and smashing the bottle, and I remember detox. But I have never given the actual booze enough dignity and importance for me to actually remember what it was. Today what it was is as important to me as a mite.

That's my opinion of the booze I drank.

On July 4th, I had straight vodka. I slipped up on July 20th and had a bottle of wine that my wife supposedly was looking forward to drinking even though it had been in our house for 6 months.

I had a 1 day slip a few months ago. I was outside a seedy bar downtown drinking a half pint of vodka & the police arrested me because I was wasted & told him I had 10 months sobriety. The case was dismissed a month later & I'm grateful for the cop because I would of ended up smoking cocaine & would of went on a 2-5 day bender.

I just re-read this and want to amend "felt good since that". LOL. I mean I didn't get totally sick and shaky like I had been. I still had a bit of aftereffect but compared to how bad it CAN be, I felt pretty good.

That is true for all drinkers...not only alcoholics.

I don't remember. At the time, it was just another drink, nothing special about it. Still nothing special about it. What happened next is what really matters.
