Apology to SR

firstly my prayers and best wishes to you and your family.
I have to admit that I struggle to see what you need to apologise for. In fact I was on the verge of sending you a note to thank you for your direct and above all, truthful comments.
You see I am one of those folks upon whom subtlety is completely lost. To get a message through to me you have to hit me with a plank sometimes. I would imagine there are one or two others like me on SR. I credit my recovery in large part to people who cared more about me than they did about my feelings and just told me the honest truth. It might smart a bit, but I got the message. Sugary plattitudes don't seem to have the same effect for me.

As it says in AA's 'How It Works' ... "We stood at the turning point". I have stood there a few times over the years. Thank you for helping me work through this positively.

Bob, you have always been a source of support and wisdom to me. I don't know what was said that you feel you need to apologize for ... I think we've all made posts here and there that may not have been well thought out and later regretted it. Not that I have ever done that myself.

Your input always seem to be thoughtful and calm Bob - you have helped me and lots of others i am sure. I am thinking of you and your family Bob. I am sure your family are grateful you are there for them during this hard time
