I get paranoid about things and it sets anxiety off or it just comes on for no reason
I get that too. I find that if I focus on something else and try to take my mind off of it, it goes away. The thing with me is, if I start to get paranoid about something just a little, my mind will go nuts and start expanding on it until it is just something so insane and improbable. Try a hot bath or a cup of tea with some soothing mellow music.
