Altered cartoon for how I feel....

The original had "Internet" as the pit and no bridge, I thought this worked well for me.

^^^^^^^..... great, if you're Christian or maybe a Jehovah's Witnesses
Crosses don't work to well for Jews though.....or Muslims, or Buddhists, or Hindus, or Islamic ppl...... or a LOT of other ppl in the world.
Luckily, recovery isn't dependent upon one's religious beliefs OR even upon HAVING any religious beliefs. That being said, I try reeeeeeeally hard to keep my religious beliefs out of AA, off these boards, and out of my recovery conversations with anyone other than the folks who invite a conversation about it.
(and FWIW, I'm a Roman Catholic..... so the Cross comment doesn't offend me but, like I said, religious beliefs don't tend to work well into recovery discussions on an open forum).
