Anyone's diet change drastically? Mine did. I can't eat hot food, not spicy, just anything cooked...except for mashed potatoes!!! it's totally weird.
I can drink coffee and hot chocolate and the mashed taters. I tried a can of soup...had about 5 spoonfuls and started getting sick to my stomach. Same with a pizza...2 bites and in the trash! ROFL Even a simple grilled cheese made my stomach flip flop.
My diet is the mashed taters, salads, sammies (chipped chopped ham and salami...only 1 slice bread) and pb&j, again, 1 slice bread. Eat some apples and carrots too. Milk and mostly healthy cereal (no sugary stuff) That's about it
If it weren't for the ham and salami, I would swear I'm going vegetarian.
And in case some are thinking it; I have no pain and the plumbing is fine LOL

It is a process getting your GI tract back to normal.
If you can, try eating some yogurt, or drinking buttermilk or some of those yogurt drinks, to get your digestive enzymes back on track.
Can you drink a smoothie made in the blender with some orange juice, a banana, some frozen berries, and some plain yogurt? This will be easeful to your stomach.
Half a plain bagel, with a slim layer of cream cheese or peanut butter or both, is also palatable. And chicken soup! it's not just an urban legend.
Best wishes to you in a healthy sane and sober future!
