Day 20 today. Everything is still Fkd up yet i am actually learning to address/solve problems.

I definitely am not 'sober' because i am itching for a drink as i type...

But,i have
Unusual level of clarity and calm.
And, i am
Looking better, sleeping better,

I don't believe in God.
I don't do AA.

I am doing what works for me...

If you are reading this posting and are thinking about getting clean,
give it a shot.

It is better than where you are NOW.

Well done. Life doesn't become a bed of roses just because we stop drinking, as you have pointed out. But things certainly get better and it is nice to feel so much stronger, physically.

Yes,most of my old 'problems' still exist, BUT

I am 35 days clean and proud that

ONE THING I HAVE DONE RIGHT is "STAY SOBER."

Folks, sometimes it's something as simple as being able to say,

Woo hoo. I'm five weeks clean!

that helps you/me make it through the day.
