Smile Making this day one, so far so good.

Today is the day I stop drinking. After my binge last night I still feel a little sick from that but I took a libruim and so far so good. I feel a little sick, but my biggest complain would have to be the lightheaded/dizziness. What day of withdraw is typically the worst?

detoxification norms aren't something many of us are qualified to answer.

Alcohol detox is something that should be done under the care of a medical doctor. Always.

Hey congratulations! I am right there with you on day one after last nights little fiascio, strange how once you start there just isn't any good ends once you realize how much of a problem you really have. But here is to us and all the others that started stopping today!

welcome slp88

There's too many individual variables to adequately answer your question, but day one was always worst for me.

Like RunnerBill said, it's best to get a Drs input - detox can be problematic for some of us.
