There is half a bottle of wine in my fridge. It is not mine so I can't dump it. Was I tempted to drink it? Yes. For a split second. Then I thought, "why am I allowing a bottle of poison get to me like this? I am better than this. WE are better than this. I thought of every person on SR. All of you behind every post I've read, all the people I've met in the chatroom, every single one of you has SOMETHING to offer this world. None of us deserve this monster called addiction. So, if I believe that all of you deserve more than your addiction(s) is giving to you, then I must begin to believe that I deserve better too. More importantly, my son deserves a better life too.

Thank you all for being so amazing, supportive and inspirational. Repeat after me: "We deserve more than this!".
