Question about withdrawal
Hi all. For the past couple years I've been a regular drinker, maybe 5-6 drinks a night a few times a week. However over the past month I haven't been able to go a day without drinking, averaging around 7-8 drinks every night. I'm resolving to stop this now before it gets any worse, but I'm a little worried about withdrawal symptoms, which I've read can be deadly.
Based on my level of drinking, what do you think the odds are that I'd experience any major (i.e. life threatening) withdrawal symptoms if I go cold turkey? My gut tells me that I don't drink quite enough to be worried about that, but I'd like some input. Thanks.
