Thank You SR! 3 Years.

Today is 3 years since my last drink and/or a mind altering substance.

SR has been there for me since the beginning of this new way of life. It has been an enormously helpful part of my recovery program. Thank you all.

That is very cool Mark!

Almost 7 months here and for the first time I really feel at peace with not ever drinking again, thanks to you all that have gone before us to show us that living sober is possible!

You are the first person I "know" that has the same anniversary! Its amazing what a difference three years makes on your mind, body, and soul

Congrats on the 3 years Mark. I hit 3 years on Aug. 21, that bender landed me in the hospital and I saved the plastic bracelet with the name and date as a reminder. My recovery though was a slow process, the first year was rough with cravings, subliminal anxiety and depression, insomnia etc. The second year was a little better but it took close to 3 years until I was really at peace with myself and truely happy, something I hadnt really known in 3 decades. A long ride back to peace and happiness but well worth it!
